This custom kitchen backsplash features a river stone bonsai tree and background accented by shimmering square marble tiles and ceramic tile shards. Installation took over one hundred hours and was completed on-site in a Boston, MA townhouse.

This sprawling 8’x 14’ mural with the theme Discover Your Dreams was inspired by the attendees of Camp Hope & Joy, an annual 2-week camp that educates and entertains eighty underprivileged youth living with HIV. Just beneath the wall’s surface we encounter rolling hills illuminated by the sun’s rays, wildlife, and a child swinging from a whimsical tree. The handprints of campers and camp counselors form the foliage of this tranquil scene. Project completed for Family Clinic of La Romana.

This hand-sculpted, fired, and glazed pottery includes a plate with a swirly sea turtle; Detroit Redwings stein; hard-boiled egg holder “Head-egg”; and garden stone with daisy and frog.

Custom designed and sewn fleece quilts include four stylized lighthouse scenes and “Lap Laughs”, a fun lap quilt concept. Lap quilts were created as donations for Cedar Manor Nursing Home to improve resident morale.

Selection includes a soldered name pin (with artist’s first and last names) and bracelet/ring set; lost-wax cast and soldered rings; chainmail bracelet with hand-made sterling silver links and plunger clasp (including hand-rolled tubing); soldered copper praying mantis and lizard with articulated limbs; and cut metal clock hands.

Origami sculptures highlight an iridescent dragon with pleated tail and wings, and hummingbird eating from a lily blossom.

The butterfly mosaic on a bowling ball illustrates the lifecycles of the monarch butterfly and milkweed plant. The breakfast tray mosaics feature a unicyclist waiting his turn at the air pump, a cowboy convincing a donkey to take a drink break, and a child’s early exposure to the delights of yard work.

Paintings include Italian woman and iris watercolors, medieval wedding watercolor with grease crayon shading, and acrylic geisha scene on a hand-made parchment and bamboo kite.

A stylized frog peaks over the brim of this commissioned hand-sculpted, glazed, and fired mug.
